Nokia introduces the new location based game

Mobile phone games are amongst the most popular forms of gaming. The fierce competition between the various cell phone companies and service providers is one factor that has increased the popularity of free mobile phone games.

To stay ahead in the competition Nokia has recently launched a location based mobile game to add to the already existing list of mobile games. With the help of this location based game, the company is introducing cell phone users to a new generation of mobile entertainment

A couple of weeks ago Nokia announced Ovi Maps, which is a turn-by-turn navigation application, would be available free for all compatible Nokia handsets. Now the Finnish-based company has developed a mobile application that fuses mapping with location-based technology and mobile gaming. Using the maps available, players can create their own, unique racing track and once the track has been created players can fire up their engines & start racing.

This game would surely revive Nokia’s mobile gaming drive and if you want to be a part of it then pick one of the compatible handsets & go speeding around your own back yard!

T-Mobile UK picks up Nexus One

Earlier it was Vodafone, and now it looks like T-Mobile will also be offering the Google’s first self branded mobile phone, the Nexus One.

This amazing mobile phone manufactured by HTC, has an AMOLED capacitive touch screen, a 1GHz Snapdragon processor and a 5 mega pixel camera. In addition to the features mentioned above, this classic phone also has advanced voice recognition software, speech to text capabilities and enhanced voice call quality using dual microphone filtering technology.

Although it comes as a surprise as it was originally reported that Google plans to control distribution of the device strictly and at present, the only way to get the device is to purchase it from the Google Online store & have it shipped to the UK. This made the super phone incredibly expensive resulting into poor sales volumes than expected. However having T-Mobile and Vodafone offering the device would certainly enhance the availability of the phone.

In case if you are also willing to grab this high-tech phone by Google then keep watching this space or visit the online comparison website for further updates.
